SARAH Tuxis emerged out of a re-organization of the well established SARAH Agency.  Today we are an independent member of the SARAH Family of Agencies, which include the SARAH Foundation and SARAH Seneca. Since SARAH Tuxis’ inception in 1990, we have grown from supporting 24 individuals in Group Homes with a staff of 40 to supporting over 100 individuals with 250 staff in a variety of settings which include: Group Living, Supported Living, In-Home Supports, Fee for Service Contracts, Recreation & Leisure Connections, Respite, and Group and Individual Day Support options, including Senior Supports. The people we support are encouraged to make informed choices about their lives that create opportunities for them to realize their dreams while keeping strong ties to their families, friends, and communities.
